Using the FB Editor
3.18 Using the FB Editor
From »Engineer« version 2.12, the CiA402 application (as of V2.x) can be edited with the FB
Editor, which means that e.g. other function blocks can be added to the interconnection.

Tip!
If additional process data need to be exchanged with the control system, 5 port
variables are provided for input data and 5 port variables are provided for output
data:
• Input ports:
FM1_RxD_DWORD … FM1_RxD_DWORD
(indexes 0xA680/1...5)
• Output ports:
FM1_TxD_DWORD … FM1_TxD_DWORD
(indexes 0xA200/1...5)

Note!
• Please observe that deleting existing interconnections will affect basic
functions of the CiA402 application!
• New port variables cannot be created.
