3.10.6 Brake control
The function of a holding brake, if available, can be controlled via the 0x60FB/2 object
(brake control).
The following applies from software version V2.x of the technology application:
 If the " Operation enabled " device status is abandoned via the " Disable operation " or
" Shutdown " command, the system waits until the motor holding brake is applied
before inhibiting the controller.

Danger!
Please note that the motor holding brake is an important element of the safety
concept of the entire machine. Proceed with special care when commissionning
this part of the machine!

Stop!
In general, motor holding brakes on Lenze motors are not designed for braking
during operation. The increased wear resulting from braking during operation
may lead to an early destruction of the motor holding brake!

Please observe the notes in the hardware manual for mounting and electrical
installation of the motor holding brake!
