DOT1X PORT-CONTROL AUTO
Syntax
dot1x port-control auto
Parameters
None
Mode
Port Interface mode
Description
Use this command to set the ports to the 802.1x port-based authenticator
role. Ports begin in the unauthorized state, forwarding only EAPOL
frames, until a client has successfully logged on. For background
information, refer to “Operational Settings for Authenticator Ports” on
page 868.

Example
This example sets ports 7 to 10 to the authenticator role:
awplus> enable
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# interface port1.0.7-port1.0.10
awplus(config-if)# dot1x port-control auto
