12.2.24 show ip route summary
Use this command to display the routing table summary. Use the optional all parameter to show the number of all routes,
including best and non-best routes. To include only the number of best routes, do not use the optional parameter.

Connected Routes
The total number of connected routes in the routing table.
Static Routes
Total number of static routes in the routing table.
RIP Routes
Total number of routes installed by RIP protocol.
BGP Routes
Total number of routes installed by BGP protocol.
OSPF Routes
Total number of routes installed by OSPF protocol.
Total Routes
Total number of routes in the routing table.
12.2.25 show ip route preferences
This command displays detailed information about the route preferences. Route preferences are used in determining the best
route. Lower router preference values are preferred over higher router preference values. A route with a preference of 255
cannot be used to forward traffic.

OSPF Ext T2
This field displays the OSPF External Type-2 route preference value.
OSPF NSSA T1
This field displays the OSPF NSSA Type-1 route preference value.
OSPF NSSA T2
This field displays the OSPF NSSA Type-2 route preference value.
RIP
This field displays the RIP route preference value.
BGP4
This field displays the BGP-4 route preference value.
