Viewing asset properties

The properties dialog box varies depending on the asset.

Viewing clip properties

1. Select the clip in the Clips pane

asset list

using the front panel touch screen, the

selection knob

, or a mouse.

2. Open the Clip Properties dialog box using one of the following:

• Select the Clips pane context menu button

, then choose

Properties

• Select

Properties

in the

asset context menu

, or

• Select the

Properties

button in the Clips pane.

If the Properties button is not displayed in the Clips pane, refer to

assignable

buttons in “Guide to using the Clips pane” on page 220

.

The Clip Properties dialog box appears. There are three pages in the clip dialog
box.

General

Media

, and

Data

. The General and Media pages are self explanatory.

The Data page is used to add metadata to the clip. To learn more, refer to

“Working

with asset metadata” on page 252
