Models
9SB-FXS0-V01

Max Power Consumption per voice module – 8 circuits.

2.0 watts max @ 5V (included M30620 running at 16MHz,
2 QSLACs)
8 watts max @ -65vrms (15 REN load)
4.6 watts max @ -24V, and1.8watts@-48V (23ma loop
current for 8 voice circuits on < 595 Ohm loop, half battery
switch in)
or
10.5 watts max @ -48V (23ma loop current for 8 voice
circuits on > 595 Ohm loop)

Max Power dissipation per voice module – 8 circuits.

2.0 watts max @ 5V (included M30620 running at 16MHz,
2 QSLACs)
2.9 watts max @ -24V,and 1.8watts at –48V (4.6W minus
a 400 Ohm termination at 23ma on 8 circuits, half battery
switch in)
or
8.1 watts max @ -48V (10.5W minus a 600 Ohm
termination at 23ma on 8 circuits)
or
2.9 watts max @ 65vrms -- with a 5 REN load on 3
circuits. Note: This consumes all of the ringing capacity.
Only one module at a time can dissipate this power.

Under normal battery conditions the termination equipment, at
400, could dissipate a minimum of .25W per circuit – 0ft loop.
However, during reverse battery conditions the source-sink
relationship between the FXS/DPO plug and the terminating
equipment will flip-flop. Consequently, power dissipation
under these conditions cannot be guaranteed.
