SHARK™ IAD User’s Guide
NETSTAT
netstat –i---Displays the IP interfaces for your SHARK™ IAD.
netstat –r---Displays the IP routes stored in your SHARK™ IAD.
PEER

peer-address Use peer-address to print peer IP address.
PING
ping <-s size > <-c count> <ip_address> where
<-s size > =size of packets sent
<ip_address> = nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn or hostname
<-c count>= number of packet set (default = 5)
Causes the SHARK™ IAD to issue a series of ICMP Echo requests for the
device with the specified IP address. The ip_address argument is the IP address,
in dotted decimal notation, of the device you want to locate. If a host using the
specified IP address is active, it returns one or more ICMP Echo replies,
confirming that it is accessible from your network. You can use the ping
command to determine whether an IP address is already in use on your network.
Only the ip-address parameter is required. You cannot ping the SHARK™
IAD’s own IP address.
QUIT
Exits the SHARK™ IAD command line interface.
RESET
RESET CRASH
Clears crash-dump information, which identifies the contents of the SHARK™
IAD registers at the point of system malfunction.
RESET DHCP SERVER
Clears the DHCP lease table in the SHARK™ IAD.
RESET ENET
Resets Ethernet statistics to zero.
RESET IPMAP
Resets the IP mapping table.
RESET LOG
Rewinds the diagnostic log display to the top of the existing SHARK™ IAD
diagnostic log. The reset log command does not clear the diagnostic log. A
show log command issued immediately following this command, will display
information from the beginning of the log file.
RESET PPP
reset ppp TMD#/vcc1 where # is the number of the PPP TDM to reset.
Resets the specified PPP link.
RESET SCON CONS
Use this command to reset the Serial connection
SETRTC
Use this command to initialize the real-time Clock. See show rtc command for
display of real-time clock.
Syntax: setrtc mm/dd/yyyy-hh:mm:ss
