DEFINITIONS
When the SHARK™ IAD generates a trap message it will send an SNMP trap
code to the SNMP administrator identified by this page. The SNMP trap codes
are defined in Appendix B.

Get Community:
Enter the SNMP community to which the SHARK™
IAD belongs for get functions. By default, the SHARK™ IAD is associated
with the public community.

Sysgroup:
These fields are used to identify the responsible party in the
case a trap is relayed to the Destination Address. This information will be
sent along with the trap message.
– Contact: Responsible party's name information.
– Location: Location of responsible party.

Traps
:
– General Alarm: Click the on button to have the SHARK™ IAD send trap
messages to the Destination Address. Selecting off prevents the SHARK™
IAD from sending trap messages to the Destination Address.
– Destination Address: Enter the destination to which the SHARK™ IAD
should send SNMP trap messages. Your WAN Network manager should
provide this IP address.
– Community: Enter the SNMP community to which the SHARK™ IAD
belongs for trap functions. By default, the SHARK™ IAD is associated
