Setting up a T1
Loopback
Set up your loopback following these steps:
1. Select a module from the module pull down menu.
2. Select a type of loopback from the type pull down menu.
3. Select whether this will be a continuous loop back or a 20-minute timeout.
4. Click on the Exec button to begin the loopback.

XCON Loopback
Set up your loopback following these steps:
1. Select a module from the module pull down menu.
2. Click on the Exec button to begin the loopback.
The XCON loopback path through the cross connect passes the T1 Payload.

Voice loopback loops an individual voice channel from the Receive In line to the
Transmit Out line. Figure 10 is a graphical representation of how the various
types of Voice Loopbacks are implemented through the SHARK™ IAD system.
Two types of T1 Loopbacks are supported:
