There are four LEDs on the faceplate: Activity, Link, Collision, and 10/100.
Activity
(ACT) The Data LED illuminates when data traffic in either direction
passes across the 10/100 BaseT interface.
Link The Link LED illuminates when a valid LAN connection/link is
established across the 10/100 BaseT interface.
Collision
(COL) The Collision LED illuminates when a collision is detected during
transmission of the Ethernet 10/100BaseT port. Once a collision is
detected, the colliding messages will be delayed for a random
period then retransmitted until the collision does not reoccur.
Faceplate
Indicators
10/100 Speed of Ethernet connected to across the 10/100 BaseT interface,
auto sensing at 10Mbps or 100Mbps. This LED is illuminated
when this port is operating at a 100Mbps rate.
