Gateway interface
set gateway interface [ ip-address | fdl | tdm1-vcc1 ]:
Specifies the interface through which the static route is accessible.

on a network connected to the SHARK™ IAD configured interface.

set metric <1-15>
Specifies the metric (hop count) for the static route. The default metric is 1

You can use the following commands to configure the settings for the PPP TDM
channels on your SHARK™ IAD.
Enter this node as shown:

(ROUTER ppp-setup)>> tdm1 vcc1
(ROUTER ppp-setup tdm1 vcc1)>>

Reminder: Enter the appropriate node as described in the " Stepping Through
SHARK™ IAD Configuration" section on page 6-25 before typing in a key
word such as set and all the arguments.
For example:
Try moving down to a lower node using the stepping mode with this
sequence of commands:

(ROUTER ppp-setup)>> tdm1 vcc1
(ROUTER ppp-setup tdm1 vcc1)>> set

Or, once you have moved to the "ppp-setup tdm1 vcc1" node, you may enter
the desired commands for that node one at a time as shown in this example:

Configuring Basic
PPP Settings
Configure the following parameters to configure basic PPP settings for the TDM
channel VCCs.
option
set option { on | off }
Enables PPP on a virtual PPP interface. By default, PPP is turned off.
mru
set mru integer Specifies the Maximum Receive Unit for the virtual PPP
interface. The MRU is the largest packet that will be accepted by this circuit.
