gain
(VOICE-1 circuit c1)>>set gain z where z = [0db | -3db | -6db | -9db ]
Specifies the gain of the 2W loop that is attached to this circuit.
NETWORK SPECIFIC
PARAMETERS
Network specific parameters are those that are set up when the SHARK™ IAD
is in a Central Office environment (CO) as specified by the FCC. In network
mode the user is allowed to program the 2W loop by loop length and wire gauge.
Network voice mode is set by the Voice mode command of the TIMING module.
See page 6-32 for a complete description of the voice mode setting.
loop-length
(VOICE-1 circuit c1)>>set loop-length z
z={0-1000 | 1001-2000 | 2001-3000 | 3001-4000 | 4001-5000 | 5001-6000 | 6001-
7000}
Specifies the length of the 2W loop that is attached to this circuit. Options are:
0-999
- 0-999 feet

loop-wire-gauge
(VOICE-1 circuit c1)>>set loop-wire-gauge v
v={22 | 24 | 26}
Specifies the wire gauge of this loop. Options are:
•
22 - for 2W loop of 22 AWG wire
•
24 - for 2W loop of 24 AWG wire
•
26 - for 2W loop of 26 AWG wire
CONFIGURE
THE T1
Begin configuration of the T1 circuits by entering the configure WAN-1, WAN-
2, LAN-1, LAN-2 or XC2T subnode. The following is an example of entering
one of the T1 nodes:
SHARK010101000011> CONFIG
(top)>> WAN-1
(WAN-1)>>
Specify the T1 module to be configured. Options are:
•
WAN-1 -WAN module 1 which is the module in the middle center slot of the
unit.
•
WAN-2 -WAN module 2 which is the module in the bottom center slot of
the unit.
•
LAN-1 –LAN module 1 which is the module in the middle right slot of the
unit.
•
LAN-2 –LAN module 2 which is the module in the bottom right slot of the
unit.
