How to Set Mail Message Reporting
This section provides an example that describes how to set e-mail
notification message reporting for controller events.
To display e-mail message information for all mail message types
(and corresponding event types), use the
mail show message
command with the
/all
switch, as in the following example. In the
example, the output of the mail show message command with the
/all
switch indicates that e-mail message reporting is set only for the
DriveLetterChange
mail message type.
HPN0> mail show message /all=TRUE
Executing: mail show message /all=TRUE
Message : DriverLetterChange
To : [email protected]
Subject : HP NetRAID-4M controller message
Body : A drive letter assignment change occurred on

To set e-mail message reporting for one specific mail message type,
use the
mail set message
command, as in the following
example. In the example, the mail set message command with the
/file_system
switch sets e-mail message reporting for the
FileSystemChange
mail message type. The first string parameter
indicates that [email protected] is to be the recipient of the e-
mail notification messages for FileSystemChange mail messages.
The second string parameter indicates that HP NetRAID-4M
controller message
is to be the subject line for FileSystemChange
mail notification messages.
