snapshot container, you can specify whether to use compact mode.
Compact mode uses a smaller backing container.
The
dead snapshot
attribute indicates that a compact snapshot
(backing) container is 100% full and its file system is no longer
accessible. See Chapter 10, Working with Snapshot Containers, for
information on how to create a snapshot container.
To display whether a compact snapshot container is dead, use the
container list
command, as in the following example. In the
example, the Usage column indicates DeadSnp, which means that
container 0 is a dead snapshot container.

Displaying the Resident File System
The
resident file system
attribute identifies the type of file
system, if any, that resides on a container. To specify a file system to
use on a container, use the
container format
command. See
Chapter 9, Modifying Containers, for information on specifying a file
system on a container.
To display a container’s resident file system, use the
container
list
command, as in the following example. In the example, the
Usage
column indicates FAT, which means that the FAT file system
resides on container 0. If an NTFS file system resides on the
container, NTFS appears in the Usage column. If an unknown file
system resides on the container, Unknown appears in the Usage
column.
