Modifying Containers
Typically, you use the
container promote
command as part of
a process to provide fault tolerance for existing volume sets.
To work with container promotion, you must understand:

Understanding the Container Promotion Attributes You can
Specify
You use the
container promote
command to promote a
container. The
container promote
command has no attributes.
Understanding How to Promote a Container
This section provides an example that describes how to promote a
container.
Before promoting a container, use the
container list
command
to display information about your containers, as in the following
example. In the example, the Type column indicates that container 0
is a Stripe set.
