Threshold Profile Threshold profile is a template that you can apply for multiple performance objects belonging to
the same object type. For an object type, a threshold profile includes the counters for which you
can set the minor and major threshold levels, and select the level at which you want to be notified.

XCOPY & WSAME XCOPY refers to eXtended COPY command implemented in EVA firmware version 1010 and
later. Vmware Vsphere Storage API for Array Integration feature Offloading of vSphere Hosts
uses XCOPY command implemented by storage array. The functionality of extended copy is to
copy certain blocks of data from one volume LUN to another or same volume LUN in the same
storage system (for example, EVA).
WSAME refers to Write SAME command implemented in EVA firmware version 1010 and later.
Vmware Vsphere Storage API for Array Integration feature Offloading of vSphere Hosts uses
WSAME command implemented by storage array. The functionality of write same is to write the
same pattern which is specified in WSAME SCSI command to the LUN.
