Database export
This section provides the database export related error messages and resolutions. If the issues are
not resolved, see
“Contacting HP support” (page 156)
.
Error messages:
•
Unable to create the export activity, please refresh the current content pane, and retry the
task. If the issue persists, refer to troubleshooting section in HP P6000 Performance Advisor
User Guide

Unable to delete the scheduled export records, please refresh the current content pane, and
retry the task. If the issue persists, refer to troubleshooting section in HP P6000 Performance

Unable to retrieve the list of scheduled export records, please refresh the current content pane,
and retry the task. If the issue persists, refer to troubleshooting section in HP P6000 Performance
Advisor user guide
Explanation/Resolution: The HP P6000 Performance Advisor database might be inaccessible or
in an inoperable state. Verify if the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Database service shows as
Started
in the Services window (type services.msc at Start > Run) and in the
EVAPAmainlog.log
file. If the service shows as Stopped, do the following:
1.
Stop the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Server service.
2.
Start the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Database service.
3.
Start the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Server service.
Retry the task.
Error message: Unable to schedule an export activity, please refresh the current content pane, and
retry the task. If the issue persists, refer to troubleshooting section in HP P6000 Performance Advisor
user guide
Explanation/Resolution: The previously created export task might have failed to start due to the
following reasons:
•
The HP P6000 Performance Advisor Database service has stopped.
Verify if the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Database service shows as Started in the
Services window (type services.msc at Start > Run) and in the EVAPAmainlog.log file.
If the service shows as Stopped, do the following:
1.
Stop the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Server service.
2.
Start the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Database service.
3.
Start the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Server service.
•
The file system where the export task creates the report is full or inaccessible.
Verify the CSV output files created for the export tasks within the EVAPA installation folder
location in the file system.
Retry the task.
