Unable to start the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Database service, please refer to
troubleshooting section in HP P6000 Performance Advisor user guide to resolve the issue
Explanation/Resolution: The HP P6000 Performance Advisor Database service could not be started.
Verify if the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Database service shows as Started in the Services
window (type services.msc at Start > Run). If the service shows as Stopped, do the following:
1.
Stop the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Server service.
2.
Start the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Database service.
3.
Start the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Server service.
Retry the task.
Error message: Unable to fetch state data for the object instance, as the object might not be
monitored. Please refresh the list and retry the task. If not monitored, the object does not appear
in the list.
Explanation/Resolution: The performance object is not added for monitoring in HP P6000
Performance Advisor. For more information, see
“Adding performance objects for monitoring”
.
Error message: DB Execution resulted in exception
Explanation/Resolution: The HP P6000 Performance Advisor database might be inaccessible or
in an inoperable state. Do the following:
1.
Start the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Database service.
2.
Start the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Server service.
Retry the task.
Error message: Unable to start the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Database service while installing
HP P6000 Performance Advisor, please refer to troubleshooting section in HP P6000 Performance
Advisor user guide to resolve the issue
Explanation/Resolution: The HP P6000 Performance Advisor Database service could not be started
during the HP P6000 Performance Advisor installation. Remove the existing instance and re-install
HP P6000 Performance Advisor.
Error message: Table is not available for the object, as it is not monitored.
Explanation/Resolution: The performance object has not yet been added for monitoring in HP
P6000 Performance Advisor. For more information, see
“Adding performance objects for monitoring”
.
