Threshold summary for a storage system
The threshold summary for a storage system provides the threshold values against the counters for
a selected duration. For more information on the threshold summary value, see
“Threshold summary
value” (page 35) . Threshold monitoring status bars are displayed for each of the following counters:
•
Total Host Req/s
•
Total Host MB/s
For more information on the counters supported for threshold monitoring, see “Supported counters”
(page 167) .
Different color blocks are displayed in the threshold monitoring status bars based on the threshold
values of the storage system. Each color block signifies a specific state of the storage system. In
addition, details of the associated threshold profile are displayed in the threshold summary table
below the threshold monitoring status bars.

Threshold summary table
This table provides the following information:
•
The threshold profile name (Custom if a custom threshold profile is used).
•
The counters for which the storage system is threshold monitored.
•
The minor and major threshold values specified for each counter.
•
The threshold level at which the notification must be generated.
If this is not specified, None is displayed.
To edit the threshold profile, click the Edit threshold profile settings link above the threshold summary
profile table. Depending on the threshold profile, one of the following occurs:

For a threshold profile, you are redirected to the Threshold Profiles window, where you can
select the threshold profile applied for the storage system record and edit the threshold settings.

For a Custom threshold profile, you are redirected to the Monitoring tab (Settings > (HP P6000
Performance Advisor Instance) > Configuration). You must select the storage system record to
