Explanation/Resolution: The HP P6000 Performance Advisor database might be inaccessible or
in an inoperable state. Wait for a few minutes and retry the task. If the issue persists, do the
following:
1. Stop the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Server service followed by the HP P6000 Performance
Advisor Database service.
2. Start the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Database service followed by the HP P6000
Performance Advisor Server service.
Then, retry the task.
Error message: The specified threshold profile is already in use
Explanation/Resolution: The threshold profile that you are trying to delete is in use. Threshold
profiles can be removed only if they are not associated with any storage system or performance
object. To remove a threshold profile, you must remove its association with the storage system or
performance object. To remove the association, edit the configured monitoring settings for that
storage system or performance object. Select None from the Select threshold profile list in the
Configure Threshold Profile section, and save the changes. For more information, see
“Adding
performance objects for monitoring” (page 55) .
Error message: The selected object was not threshold monitored for the specified duration. Try to
view data for a different duration
Explanation/Resolution: The performance data is not displayed as the object is not threshold
monitored for the duration that you selected. Select a duration during which the object has been
threshold monitored.
Error message: The object instance(s) for the selected object type were not threshold monitored for
the specified duration. Try to view data for a different duration
Explanation/Resolution: The performance data is not displayed for the objects as the corresponding
object type is not associated with any threshold profile for the duration that you selected. Select a
duration during which the objects have been threshold monitored.
Error message: The specified dashboard profile is already in use
Explanation/Resolution: The dashboard profile that you are trying to delete is in use. Dashboard
profiles can be removed only if they are not associated with any storage system. To remove a
dashboard profile, you must remove it from the Dashboard Settings. To remove dashboard profile,
select None from the Select Dashboard profile drop-down list in the Configure Dashboard Profile
section, and save the changes.
