Derived counters definitions
The following table describes the counters specific to HP P6000 Performance Advisor.

Description Derived counters Performance object type
The total data rate (read data rate and write data rate)
during the current sample interval. Total MB/s Host port
The percentage of read requests during the current sample
interval, calculated as follows: Read % Host port
Read Percentage = (Read Req/s / (Read
Req/s + Write Req/s))* 100
The percentage of write requests during the current sample
interval. Write % Host port
The total number of read and write requests received per
second during the current sample interval. Total Req/s Host port
The average data transfer size for read requests received
on the host port during the current sample interval. HP Average Read Size (KB) Host port
P6000 Performance Advisor considers 1MB as
1,000,000 bytes for showing the data transfer size.
The average data transfer size for write requests received
on the host port during the current sample interval. HP Average Write Size (KB) Host port
P6000 Performance Advisor considers 1MB as
1,000,000 bytes for showing the data transfer size.
For each virtual disk, this counter records the total data
rate during the current sample interval. It includes all read Total Read MB/s Vdisk
requests, regardless of whether they resulted in a cache
hit or a cache miss.
For each virtual disk, this counter records the percentage
of the read requests received during the current sampling
interval. Read % Vdisk
For each virtual disk, this counter records the percentage
of the write requests received during the current sampling
interval. Write % Vdisk
For each virtual disk, this counter records the total read
requests received during the current sample interval. It Total Read Req/s Vdisk
includes all read requests, regardless of whether they
resulted in a cache hit or a cache miss.
For each virtual disk, this counter records the total I/O
requests received during the current sample interval. It Total Req/s Vdisk
includes all read requests regardless of whether they
resulted in a cache hit or a cache miss, and all write
requests. It also includes data writes caused by transfers
from a source DRM system to this system for data
replication.
For each virtual disk, this counter records the total data
rate during the current sample interval. It includes all the Total MB/s Vdisk
write requests (I/O from hosts and transfers from a source
DRM system to this system for data replication).
