Enter the following command in your command prompt window:
dbRestoreBackupDump [BACKUP_FILE] [DBPORT] [POSTGREBIN]

If BACKUP_FILE is empty, the backed-up data is restored in the
folder (for example,
backup/p6000pa.backup
).

If DBPORT is empty, the environment variable EVAPA_DB_PORT is used. If
EVAPA_DB_PORT
is not set, port 2377 is used by default.
•
If [POSTGREBIN] is empty, the environment variable EVAPA_POSTGREBIN is used. If
EVAPA_POSTGREBIN
is not set, C:\PROGRA~1\POSTGR~1\9.0\bin is used.

After the restore operation is complete, start the HP P6000 Performance Advisor Server service.
The restore log files are available in the .\logs sub folder.
If duplicate entries are found during the restore process, the restore completes with errors. In such
a case, manual verification of restored data is required.
