Removing the PC3000 Processor Card's Address
from the SYSTEM.INI File
You must edit the SYSTEM.INI file to remove the reference to the
PC3000 Processor card.
Step 1.
Using a text editor, open the SYSTEM.INI file, which is
located in the directory where Windows 95 is installed.
Step 2.
Locate the section [386Enh].
Step 3.
Remove the following line in the [386Enh] section:
EMMExclude=MEM1-MEM2

(serial number)
Where:
MEM1 = the starting address of the PC3000
Processor card
MEM2 = the ending address of the PC3000
Processor card

Step 4.
Save and close the SYSTEM.INI file.

Remove the card by following the
steps in section 20.3

Remove the PC3000 Processor Card's Address
from the CONFIG.SYS File
If you edited the CONFIG.SYS file when you installed the card, you
need to remove the PC3000 Processor card's memory address. To
edit the CONFIG.SYS file, follow these steps:
Step 1.
Using a text editor, open the CONFIG.SYS file located in
the root of the boot drive.
Step 2.
Search for the line containing: EMM386.SYS.
Step 3.
Remove the X statement" (X=MEM1ĆMEM2) for the card
you are removing:
Where:
MEM1 = the first address range of the PC3000
Processor card
MEM2 = the second address range of the
PC3000 Processor card
Example
: EMM386.SYS X=C800-C9FF
Step 4.
Remove the remark statement if present.
REM X = C800-C9FF
Step 5.
Remove the card from the PC by following the
procedures in section 20.3.
