Important: The data communication rate must be set before you
enable the scanner module to start scanning the remote I/O racks.
Should you ever need to change the data communication rate,
follow the procedure in section 16.4.
16.2
Specifying the Remote Racks That Will Be
Scanned
Within the initialization program, you must specify the remote I/O
racks that you want the PC3000 scanner to scan by setting each
rack's Rack Enable bit, because on powerĆup all racks are disabled.
Set the Rack Enable bit for all configured remote I/O racks used in
your system.
To enable a rack, set bit 0 of the variable corresponding to the Rack
Enable register to on (1).
