7.4.1 Terminating RGĆ59/U Cable
Use the following procedure to install the dual crimp plug connector
onto the coaxial cable:
Step 1.
After the cables have been installed in the conduit or
cable trays, slide the ferrule onto the coax cable as
shown in figure 7.1.

Step 2. Strip the coax using the dimensions shown in figure 7.2.
Be sure the shield braid wire is cut to the correct length
and cannot touch the center conductor.

Step 3. Place the center contact, assembled on the stripped
conductor, in the partially closed crimping dies as shown
in figure 7.3. Be sure the flange on the end of the center
contact butts against the crimping die.
