Disposing of the Battery
Do not dispose lithium batteries in a general trash collection when
their combined weight is greater than or equal to 0.5 gram. Check
your state and local regulations that deal with the disposal of lithium
batteries.
WARNING
FOLLOW THESE PRECAUTIONS:

DO NOT INCINERATE OR EXPOSE THE BATTERY TO HIGH TEMPERATURES.
•
DO NOT SOLDER THE BATTERY OR LEADS; THE BATTERY COULD EXPLODE.
•
DO NOT OPEN, PUNCTURE, OR CRUSH THE BATTERY. THE BATTERY COULD
EXPLODE, AND TOXIC, CORROSIVE, AND FLAMMABLE CHEMICALS COULD
BE EXPOSED.
•
DO NOT CHARGE THE BATTERY. AN EXPLOSION MIGHT RESULT OR THE
CELL MIGHT OVERHEAT AND CAUSE BURNS.
•
DO NOT SHORT POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE TERMINALS TOGETHER. THE
BATTERY WILL HEAT UP.
FAILURE TO OBSERVE THESE PRECAUTIONS COULD RESULT IN BODILY
INJURY OR DAMAGE TO OR DESTRUCTION OF EQUIPMENT.
20.3
Replacing the AutoMax PC3000 Processor
Card
You may need to replace the AutoMax PC3000 Processor card. To
do this, you must:
D remove the old card
D prepare and install the new card
If you are replacing a PC3000 Processor card in a PC chassis, you
must first remove the card from the PC's Device Manager list. See
section 20.4.
