Assigning Variable Names to the BlockĆTransfer
Data Table Registers
The blockĆtransfer data table is the location where data is
exchanged between the scanner module and a blockĆtransfer
module. Each blockĆtransfer request has 64 sequential registers
(words) reserved. Within the data table, you either place data
destined for the blockĆtransfer module or copy data received from
the blockĆtransfer module. The amount of data read or written is
based on the length of the blockĆtransfer that you specified in the
third word of the blockĆtransfer request's status and control table.

of the data registers associated with the blockĆtransfer status and
request table.
To assign variable names to the blockĆtransfer data table registers
and the bits within the registers, use the scanner's Variable
Configurator form. When you choose the Block Transfer Data Table
view, you see a form similar to figure 14.4.
