Press [Curl Adjustment].
The Curl Adjustment Screen will be displayed.

Press [Air Assist].
The Air Assist Screen will be displayed.
With a tray from [Tray 4] to [Tray 9] selected in step 5, the following Air Assist Screen will be displayed.
Select either [Auto] or [Manual].
Selecting [Manual] enables the following 4 settings:
% Use [Weak] and [Strong] provided under [Lead Edge Air Level Setting] to select the desired air level
within the range from [1] to [9].
% Use [Weak] and [Strong] provided under [Side Air Level Setting] to select the desired air level within
the range from [1] to [9].
% Select either [Active (Strong)] or [Normal (Standard)] provided under [Lead Edge Nozzle Change].
% Select one from [Active (Strong)], [Normal (Standard)], and [OFF] under [Side Duct Up/Down].
% For the paper feeder unit tray, you can open the confirmation window for the air nozzle and modify
the air assist settings while visually checking the feeding. For details, see Section 4 of the User's
Guide - Main Body.
