3.4.3 Setting Magnification Ratio Automatically: Auto Zoom
Using a tray specified as [Standard] or [Tab Paper] in Paper Setting, the machine automatically selects an
appropriate magnification ratio according to the scanned original size.
0 Auto Zoom is incompatible with Auto Paper, while Image Rotation is available.

Auto Zoom will not function for the tray specified as [Custom] in Paper Setting. See page 3-31 for de-
tails of Paper Setting.

Position the original.
The machine detects the original size automatically.

Press the desired tray key specified as [Standard] or [Tab Paper].
The [Auto Zoom] provided under [Zoom] will be highlighted, and a proportional zoom ratio will be auto-
matically determined and displayed on the screen.
