19 Machine management information
indicator Indicates the original count, number of reserved jobs,
remaining amount of memory, and remaining capacity
of the storage (File Amount).
20 [Image Rotation OFF] Pressed to activate/deactivate the Image Rotation
function.
21 Tray keys The key of the tray automatically selected by the Auto
Paper function appears highlighted. To copy on paper
loaded in the desired tray, press the tray key to high-
light it. When [Auto Zoom] is highlighted, the auto
zoom functions is enabled when a tray key is selected.
22 [Auto Paper] key Highlighted when Auto Paper is on. Press this key to
activate the Auto Paper mode.
23 [Hold Setting] Pressed to store a copy job as a temporary hold job.
24 Machine status indicator/right Displays [Supply], [PM Call], [Collect], [Modem Err],
[ORU-M], [Drum/Deve], fusing web exchange icon,
and [Rotation]. Up to 5 indicators can be displayed in
normal size; when 6 or more indicators are required,
small icons will substitute for [Drum/Deve] and those
follow after it.
25 [Paper Setting] Pressed to use paper not specified to any tray.
26 Tray information indicator Displays paper size, orientation, name, weight, and
paper amount remaining in main body trays (trays 1
to 3), Paper Feeder Unit PF-704 (trays 4 to 9), or Pa-
per Feeder Unit (with scanner) PF-705 (trays 4 to 6).
The tray with thin coated paper specified will display
"*" in the Weight area, if you also set the paper type to
Coated-GL/ML/GO/MO and the weight to 81-
105 g/m
2
for that tray. For details, see Section 9 of the
User's Guide - Main Body.
27 Machine status indicator/left Indicates the [shutoff time] when using Weekly timer,
or the status of the controller.
28 Color keys Pressed to select the desired color mode.
29 Original direction keys Selects the direction of the original placed on ADF or
the original glass.
30 [Separate Scan] key Pressed to temporally store the images in memory
obtained by scanning the original.
31 Message area Displays messages concerning the current status of
the machine or operation currently required.
