Pressing [Tab Paper] will display the Tab Paper Screen.
Select either [A4T v] or [8.5 e 11T v].
Use the touch panel keypad, [
,], or [+] to enter the number of tabs. Setting range for the number of
tabs is from 1 to 15.
Press [OK].

Press [Weight].
The Weight Setting Screen will be displayed. Select the desired weight key under [Weight Setting].
% The key [(9) 300-350 g/m2] is unavailable for [Tray 1], [Tray 2], and [Tray 3].
% The keys [(1) 64-74 g/m2], [(2) 75-80 g/m2], [(7) 221-256 g/m2], [(8) 257-300 g/m2], and [(9) 301-350
g/m2] are unavailable for the cover tray [PB] of Perfect Binder PB-503.
% The paper weight setting is required for the upper tray [PI 1] and lower tray [PI 2] of the post inserter
mounted on Folding Unit FD-503, when those trays are loaded with covers for perfect binding to
be made on the machine equipped with Perfect Binder PB-503. For this setting, the keys [(1) 64-
74 g/m2], [(2) 75-80 g/m2], [(7) 221-256 g/m2], [(8) 257-300 g/m2], and [(9) 301-350 g/m2] are una-
vailable. The paper weight setting is not required when they are loaded with paper other than covers
for perfect binding.
% The upper tray [PI 1] and lower tray [PI 2] of Post Inserter PI-502 mounted on Finisher FS-612 do
not require the paper weight setting on the Weight Setting Screen.
Select the desired unit key under [Unit Change]. The screen will display the paper weight in the selected
unit.
