show media
Description of Command Function
Shows media information for storage slots, drives, mail slots, or all of them in a particular partition.
Command Syntax
show media [options]
path: /show/media [options]
Command Parameters (Required)
Pn – The partition number is specified using a logical number, is 1-based. A value of P0 will return
the physical library ordered by logical library information.
Command Options
One of the following options is required:
•
all – displays media information for all storage slots, drives, and mail slots.
•
slots – displays media information for all storage slots or those within a range from 1 to 9999.
•
mail – displays media information for all mail slots or those within a range from 1 to 240.
•
drives – displays media information for all drives or those within a range from 1 to 192.
Examples
Displays Media Information For Command
All storage slots in partition 1 show media p1 slots
All drives in partition 2 show media p2 drives
All mailslots in partition 2 show media p2 mail
Storage slots 1 through 100 in partition 2 show media p2 slots 1 100
Drives 1 through 4 in partition 1 show media p1 drives 1 4
Mail slots 1 through 10 in partition 1 show media p1 mail 1 10
All storage slots, drives, and mail slots in partition 1 show media p1 all
All storage slots, drives, and mail slots in the whole library show media p0 all
