Configuring robot and power rail health checks

In Hardware Revision 2 libraries only, the library automatically performs health checks on the
robots and the robotic power rails. If problems are found, an event is generated.

By default, the library performs each check once per day. You can change how often the library
performs these checks. The interval can be set in increments of days, from once per day to once
per year. You can also set it to never run. HP recommends a once-per-day health check for the
robots and power rails. In dual robot libraries, it is important that the robots be properly installed
and tested to ensure that both robots are operating as designed.

1.

From the menu bar, select Setup

→Library Settings→Health Check Intervals.

The Health Check Intervals window displays the intervals for rails, active robot, and passive
robot (if applicable).

2.

Change any of the intervals by entering a new value in the field. The health check is performed
every time the interval has elapsed. If you enter zero, the health check will never be performed.
