Test results
The results of all sub-tests appear on the Verification Tests window after each individual test is
completed.
A single problem in the library can cause failed results in multiple tests. After taking action to correct
a failed result, run any tests again that yielded marginal or failed results.
See
for an explanation of test results.
Table 34 Test results
Explanation
Test Results
The test completed without reported errors.
PASSED
The test completed, but the system retried or skipped part of the test.
A MARGINAL result is considered PASSED, but check the log to see
if the marginality can be corrected.
MARGINAL
An error was found and needs to be corrected. A fatal error, or an
error that causes a part of the system to become disabled, will halt
the test.
FAILED
This portion of a test was incomplete due to an interruption, or a
portion of the test was run (for example, no scratch tape was used,
INCOMPLETE
only existing tapes were used). An incomplete occurs when the door
is opened, an abort command is issued, or when the Robotics Enable
button is pressed.
