3.13.3 Removing Devices from VxVM
VxVM uses HDLM devices to access LUs managed by HDLM. Therefore, you must
remove non-HDLM devices (such as sd or ssd devices), which correspond to the LU,
from VxVM management.
In this section, excluding devices from VxVM management is called removing
devices.
The following describes devices that must be removed from VxVM, and the procedure
for removing such devices.
