Chapter 10 Description of K2 SAN Devices
NH1-10GE Dell PowerEdge R610 server
The NH1-10GE K2 Media Server provides I0 Gig FTP available bandwidth. The
following interfaces provide K2 SAN functionality:
• One GigE port on the motherboard. The 1950 has two GigE ports and the R610 has
four GigE ports, but the additional ports are used.
• One 10 Gig port.
• One Fibre Channel card.
NH K2 Media Server specifications
The NH K2 Media Server is built on a Dell PowerEdge 1950 or R1950 server
platform. Specifications that are unique to it purpose as a K2 Media Server are listed
in the following table. For a complete list of specifications, refer to Dell
documentation.
