Processing Batches

Log files are created in the Ascent Capture log folder. A new log file is created for
each day. Every time a new batch is opened by Ascent Xtrata Pro Server, the
program checks if a log file for the current day exists. If not, a file is created. If Ascent
Xtrata Pro Server runs over midnight, the first batch that is opened after midnight
causes the creation of a new log file. That keeps all log data for one batch together.
Log file names include the current date as part of the file name:
mailroom_log_
( e.g.
mailroom_log_20031023.txt
)
The structure of a typical log message is as follows:
“Type” can be Info, Error, or Warning. The following is a sample log entry:
13:15:07 [Info] 00000003 Runtime Module started
12:12:30 [Info] 00000050 Document 7 was classified with confidence 89.85%
12:12:30 [Info] 00000051 Document 7 was registered with confidence 85.40%
12:12:30 [Info] 00000052 Processing Document 8
13:52:09 [Error] 00000083 Error in function "Classify": No sample page found
for Form Type "FT_ABC"
The log file contains a record for every page classified showing the classification
result, confidence, and time.
