Step 1 Set Up Classification and Extraction
Classification and extraction methods are configured and tested for a project in the
Ascent Xtrata Pro Project Builder. Once the project is saved, it can be synchronized
with an Ascent Capture batch class that includes Ascent Xtrata Pro Server in its
workflow. (Synchronization can be performed before or after you add Ascent Xtrata
Pro Validation to the batch class.) For details how to set up classification and
extraction see Project Builder – Setup Classification and Project Builder – Setup Extraction.
Step 2 Set up Validation with Project Builder
Validation is also configured and tested for a project in the Project Builder. See Set Up
Validation within Ascent Xtrata Pro on page 216where the steps for defining validation
and applying them to a validation form are described.
Step 3 Add Ascent Xtrata Pro Validation to a Batch Class
Add the Ascent Xtrata Pro Validation module to the Ascent Capture workflow for
the batch class. It must be added after the Ascent Xtrata Pro Server in the list of
queues. Once batches are processed by the Server, they can be processed by the
Validation module.
Set Up Validation within Ascent Xtrata Pro Project Builder
This section describes how to set up validation. Normally, you add validation to an
existing project that already contains all the necessary definitions for classification
and extraction. The following figure shows the workflow with Ascent Xtrata Pro
Validation.
