Ascent Xtrata Pro User's Guide
Line by Line
Each text line will be classified individually and returned as an alternative if the
confidence is high enough. The result is sorted by confidence. The coordinates of
the line are included with the returned alternatives, and are highlighted in the
document. The coordinates are accessible by scripts.
Result mode
Use these options to define the level of detail for the returned results.
Single Topic
If this option is selected, only one class from the referenced project will be used
as a result in the alternative.
Multi Topic
If this option is selected, a semicolon delimited list of the best class results will be
used as alternative values.
Max. number of results (0 = all)
Limits the number of returned classification results to the specified number. A
value of 0 allows all the alternatives to be returned. Note that all returned results
must meet the minimum confidence value.
Default result
Use this value if no classification result is found and no default class is defined in
the external project. In the absence of a default result, the locator returns no
value. The default result can be a text string such as “Nothing,“ “Unclassified,”
or something similar.
Classification Settings
Min. confidence
Only classification results with a confidence higher than or equal to this value
will be returned as alternatives.
Classification Locator Properties Dialog Box – Regions Tab
Use the Regions tab to manage the pages and regions the locator will investigate.
By default, the entire document is enabled on all pages. To restrict the locator to
certain pages and areas, you can define regions that include or exclude areas.
Regions are defined manually by drawing rectangles on the document or by
restricting the locator to specific pages. The coordinates of a region are shown in the
list at the bottom of the dialog box.
