Import Options
The import options frame contains various filters and format settings.
Ignore case
Check this option to convert all search and lookup strings to lower case (the case
is ignored).
First line contains caption
Select this option if the first record of the input file contains the column headers.
These names will be used as field names in the database locator. If the database
was referenced before you selected this option, you can select the option
afterwards. The database entries are updated automatically.
Field delimiter
This character is used to separate the line into fields. By default a semicolon (;) is
used.
Additional delimiter
If fields in the database contain compound words like “Diagon-Alley,” but the
search should consider them as single words, additional delimiters can be
specified. The search string will be split to single terms by the delimiters. In this
example, if a hyphen (-) is used then “diagon” and “alley” are searched and
evaluated separately.
Note
The added delimiters must correspond to the delimiters that are defined
for OCR.
