• NetAmount4 / TaxAmount4 / TaxRate4: These three fields form a group. The
corresponding fields are filled with the fourth net amount, to which the fourth
tax rate applied.
• Total: Contains the sum of all net amounts plus taxes.
• Postage: Contains the postage amount.
• Packaging: Contains the packaging amount.
• Discount: Contains any discounts that might be applied to the invoice.
Invoice Group Locator
The Invoice Group locator contains fields related to the invoice header:
• InvoiceNumber: Contains the invoice number.
• InvoiceDate: Contains the invoice date.
• CustomerID: Contains the customer identifier number.
• VAT-ID: Contains the customer VAT identifier number.
Order Group Locator
The order group contains fields related to the supplier or vendor:
• OrderNumber: Contains the order number.
• OrderDate: Contains the order date.
Note All fields that need to be extracted must be trained. It is recommended that you
train with actual sample documents from each supplier. All the fields that need to be
extracted should be available on the sample documents. If you have an invoice where
an amount may or may not be present, then you have to train for both cases.
Setting Up Field Group Locators
The following chapter describes how to set up field group locators.
Extraction Training Sets
A training set is a collection of sample documents that are used to train a project in
order to improve the extraction results. Sample documents are required for all fields
that are extracted by field group locators.
