No. of decimal places
Select a number from the list that defines how many decimal places are used.
Possible values range from 0 to 4.
Currency
Use the Add or Delete buttons to insert/delete currency phrases. A currency phrase
may be found on the document next to an amount. If there is no space between the
amount and the currency phrase, then the OCR engine will put them together.
Because characters next to an amount often indicate the currency, you can define the
Amount Formatter in a way that those currency phrases are deleted (for example, an
OCR result of “23,50eur” will be changed to “23,50”).
Testing
To test the settings, enter some sample input text and click Format. The sample text is
formatted per the settings and displayed in the output field. If the sample cannot be
formatted per the settings, or does not match the validation rules, a warning or error
message displays.

Date Formatting Properties Dialog Box
The Date Formatter is used to unify date formats, and returns errors and warnings
when the validation rules are not satisfied.
A special feature allows adding a dictionary to convert date formats that include the
names of months to a numeric format. It also tries to correct minor recognition errors
automatically. For example, it converts an upper case O to 0 (zero).
