Validation Methods Properties Dialog Boxes
There are six different types of validation methods, and each type has its own
properties dialog box.
• Standard Validation
Use this validation method to validate single fields for minimum and/or
maximum length, or to restrict the character set.
• Date Validation
Use this validation method to validate date formats.
• Regular Expression Validation
Use this validation method to validate regular expressions.
• Single Field Script Validation
Use this validation method to create a custom script to validate a single field.
• Multi Field Script Validation
Use this validation method to create a custom script to validate a set of single
fields, for example to check the total sum as result of a net amount and a tax
amount.
