Enable Proxy Server—Select the option when UAM cannot access the Internet. You do not

need to select the option when UAM can access the Internet. The following parameters
appear only when you select this option.

IP or Domain Name—Enter the IP address or domain name of the proxy server.

Port—Enter the port number of the proxy service.

Username/Password—Enter the username and password if the proxy needs to be
authenticated.

{

If you select Other SMS Sender, UAM uses another vendor's SMS platform to send short
messages. The UAM server does not need to connect to an SMS modem. Configure the

following parameters:

Max. Mobile Number Length—Enter the digits of the mobile phone number used to send
short messages. UAM first obtains the mobile phone number from Telephone in access user

basic information. If UAM cannot obtain the mobile phone number, it obtains the mobile
phone number from the user account by counting backward from the last digit to the

specified digit. The value of 0 in this field indicates that the entire user account is used as the

mobile phone number. If the number of the user account digits is smaller than this parameter

or the counted part has letters, UAM considers the mobile phone number is invalid and
does not send short messages. For example, if Telephone is set to +8613812345678 and this

parameter is set to 11, the phone number used to send short messages is 13812345678.

To make sure UAM can work with another vendor's SMS platform, perform the following
operations:

a.

Develop SMS logic required by the com.h3c.imc.acm.note.func.ThirdMsgMgr interface.

b.

In the text editor, open the acmExternalCfg.xml file in the /client/conf directory of the IMC
installation path, and replace the com.h3c.imc.acm.Test file with the complete path storing the

developed SMS logic.

c.

Compile the SMS logic to a class file, generate a .jar file, and place the JAR file in the
/client/repository/imc/jars directory of the IMC installation path.

d.

Restart IMC.
For more information about the development for working with another vendor's SMS platform,

see RESTful API documentation.

Click OK.

Configuring the third-party authentication system

After the third-party authentication function is enabled, an access user using the Internet service suffix will

be authenticated by the third-party system based on the bound phone number and password after

passing UAM authentication. The user cannot access the target network if the user failed RADIUS
authentication of the third-party system or the user is not configured with a bound phone number.
To configure the third-party authentication system:

1.

Click the User tab.

2.

Select User Access Policy > Service Parameters > System Settings from the navigation tree.
The list includes all the system settings.

3.

Click the Configure icon for Third-Party Authentication System.
The Third-Party Authentication System page appears.
