Portal authentication
HP recommends that you configure the portal authentication function of UAM in the following order:
configure the portal server, add an IP address group, and add a portal device.
1. Configure the portal server parameters.
To enter the portal server configuration page, click the User tab and select User Access Policy >
Portal Service > Server from the navigation tree, as shown in
Figure 24 . For more configuration
information, see " Configuring UAM as the portal server ."

2. Add an IP group.
IP groups distinguish users. When you add the IP group, use the following guidelines:
