You should connect a cable to the port with the correct mark. Misplugging is prone to impair the
module and even damage the router.

When using T1 cable outdoors, you are recommended to install a special lightning arrester on the
input end of the cable in order to avoid lightning more effectively.
If the SIC has been properly installed, follow these steps to connect the cable:
Step1 Plug one end of T1 cable into the RJ-45 connector of SIC-1VT1.
Step2 Connect the other end of T1 cable to the peer device;
Step3 Check the status of LINK LED on the SIC-1VT1 panel: OFF means the link is not connected. In the
latter case, check the line.
SIC-AUDIO
Introduction
SIC-AUDIO is an input and output audio and DOOR RELAY control signal output interface module. It
provides three types of interfaces:
z
MOH interface: Connecting to an external voice source, it inputs background music and call waiting
music for the router, and the call waiting music for the router to join a telephone conference.
z
PAGE interface: Connecting to a power amplifier, it serves as a number of a VCX ring group to
output audio signals from a router.
z
DOOR RELAY interface: Binding to the FXS interface on the same device, it enables an
administrator to open a door through an indoor phone.
