TRIM
SINGLE CAMERA CONFIGURATION
Color Temperature calculations assume a pure light source that may not be true in the specific scene the
camera is imaging. To compensate for any residual colorcast, the TINT parameter can adjust the RGB
color balance with a compensating Magenta - Green color component.
To adjust: Select TINT and twist
joystick to change the highlighted TINT box to the desired setting.
Range is -100 to 100, default is 0
NOTE: Pushing AUTO WB calculates a new Tint value. This is maintained if the Color Temp is ad-
justed via the Manual WB parameter. If you select the Tungsten or Daylight presets, Tint will be re-
set to zero, which is the default value.
MASTER / SLAVE CAMERA CONFIGURATION
The TRIM sub-menu permits fine adjustment of White Balance via the TINT parameter, and also permits
colorimetry differences seen by the Slave camera (such as between the transmitted and reflected paths of
a beam split mirror) to be dialed out from the Master camera when recording in 3D applications. For de-
tails on setting up Master / Slave configuration, go to
APPENDIX E: MASTER / SLAVE CAMERA CON-
NOTE: Pushing AUTO WB calculates a new Tint value. This is maintained if the Color Temp is ad-

set to zero, which is the default value.

camera is imaging. To compensate for any residual colorcast, the TINT offset parameter can adjust the
RGB color balance with a compensating Magenta - Green color component.
Range is -100 to 100, default is 0
