COLOR TEMP
The Color Temperature sub-menu adjusts the purity of white reproduction of the RGB monitoring paths at
different Color Temperatures of ambient light. Factory default is 5,600 degrees Kelvin.
AUTO WB
The Automatic White Balance (AUTO WB) function allows the camera to calculate a Color Temperature
that will render a white object as white. AWB mode analyzes the central 25% of the image visible in the
monitor.
To use AUTO WB, place a white or gray object under the ambient light, select the AUTO WB parameter
and then push in on the joystick once. AUTO WB may also be assigned to a User Key.
NOTE: If operating in Master / Slave mode, pressing Auto WB will cause each camera to inde-
pendently calculate its own White Balance value.
TUNGSTEN
Preset to 3,200K.
NOTE: If operating in Master / Slave mode, pressing TUNGSTEN on the master camera will also
force the slave camera to use 3,200K (+ / - any S WBAL trim set up for it).
DAYLIGHT
Preset to 5,600K.
NOTE: If operating in Master / Slave mode, pressing DAYLIGHT on the master camera will also
force the slave camera to use 5,600K (+ / - any S WBAL trim set up for it).
MANUAL WB
Allows you to manually set Color Temperature in the range from 1,700 to 100,000 degrees Kelvin.
To ad-
just: Select MANUAL WB and twist joystick to change the highlighted COLOR TEMP box to the desired
setting (default is 5,600K).
NOTE: If operating in Master / Slave mode, adjusting MANUAL on the master camera will also force
the Slave camera to increment its WBAL value in 100 degree Kelvin steps.
