Data Files stored on the Laptop may also be opened for review. To open files on
the Laptop, select the PC button at the top of the Data Review window. Refer to
Figure 10-10 . Next, select the appropriate file from the Laptop hard drive.
NOTE: Use Manage Files, to copy or delete files and folders on either the
HAPSITE or Laptop hard drive.
10.2 Saving Files
The following section describes the proper way to save HAPSITE files to the
Laptop.
NOTE: Some files may be saved automatically.
10.2.1 Method Files
Method files are created using the ER IQ Laptop software to direct the instrument
on how to collect and analyze samples. Method files are created using the Method
Editor and can be saved to either a folder on the Laptop or the HAPSITE hard drive.
After method parameter changes are entered, the method needs to be saved.
When ready to save the method, press the Save button at the bottom of the Method
Editor window. The dialog window below is displayed. Notice that the HAPSITE is
default location to save a method file. To save Method files to the Laptop, select the
PC option as shown below in
Figure 10-12 .
