CLear File (CL F)
Use this command to clear (erase) all records from the selected file. Once cleared, file data
cannot be retrieved unless you have a PCMCIA backup card or a PC/900 software backup.

Type CL F.
The system displays the following menu:
CLEAR FILE
1. VEHICLE
2. EMPLOYEE (OR MANUAL ENTRY NAME)
3. TRANSACTIONS
4. EVENTS
5. ALL
ENTER (1-5):

Type the selection number for the file to be cleared.
The system prompts: ARE YOU SURE? (Y)es or (N)o.

Type the appropriate response. The system responds COMMAND COMPLETED and
redisplays the menu. Press ENTER to exit.
CLear Key (CL K)
Use this command to clear the key read totalizer, which records all uses of the key in the
receptacle.

Type CL K. The system prompts (Y)es or (N)o.

Type the appropriate response. The system responds COMMAND COMPLETED.
CLear Transaction In Progress (CL TIP)
Use this command to clear any transactions in progress. When you use this command, the
system places an UNASSIGNED TRANS message in the transaction ERROR column. This
command should be used with care as transactions may be lost. Contact Gasboy Technical
Service before attempting this command.

Type CL TIP. The system prompts ARE YOU SURE? (Y)es or (N)o.

Type the appropriate response. Any transactions in progress are cleared. They are logged in
the transaction file as unassigned transactions and the pump number, product, tank number,
and quantity are recorded.
